Structure Fire @ Pioneer Place, 9/27

At 1338 hrs, the Oswego Fire Protection District was dispatched, for the structure fire on the 2700 block of Crooker Drive, Yorkville, IL.
Upon the fire department arrival at 1344 hrs, a fire was discovered on the exterior of the home. The fire was extinguished and overhauled by emergency crews. Majority of the damage was confined to the exterior of the home. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation, and does not appear suspicious in nature. Damage to the residence is estimated at $20,000.

No injuries were reported to civilians or emergency personnel. Assistance was provided by the Montgomery and Bristol-Kendall Fire Protection Districts.
The Oswego Fire Protection District was formed by voter referendum in March of 1936, covers over 60 square miles in the northeast portion of Kendall County and about 1.5 square miles of northwest unincorporated Will County.
