Student Threat Displayed on Wall at Oswego High School

On Tuesday, September 25, 2018, the Oswego Police Department was notified of an incident at the Oswego High School involving writing on a bathroom wall appearing to threaten violence against specified individuals to occur on October 9, 2018.

The Oswego Police School Resource Officer and Police Detectives are currently investigating the incident in cooperation with Community School District 308.

Additional police presence is being provided and may be observed at the school during the investigation.

Oswego Police are asking anyone with any information to please call the Oswego Police Department at 630-551-7300, or report it to Kendall Crime Stoppers at 630-553-5999 where callers remain anonymous and tips leading to arrests are eligible for a cash reward of up to $1000. Information may also be reported at the School District’s emergency hotline at 630-636-4679.
