On Monday, August 27, 2018, at approximately 8:40 p.m., Oswego Police Responded to a call for a domestic incident in which a female was causing damage inside a residence in the block of Springbrook Trail South.
Upon arrival, Oswego Police determined the female had barricaded herself in a room inside the home and was refusing to come out. During the incident, the female was in communication with the police officers, at times making suicidal statements. The situation was eventually resolved at approximately 11:00pm and the female was taken into custody.
Due to statements of the female, she was transported to a hospital for evaluation. She was charged with Criminal Damage to Property and Obstructing a Peace Officer and has a court date of October 9, 2018. It was also determined she had an active warrant from the Illinois Department of Corrections and upon her release from the hospital, she was transported to Kendall County Public Safety Center on that warrant.
