OSWEGO, ILL. – Bring your blankets and lawn chairs and celebrate America’s birthday with a dazzling fireworks display with your friends and family! The Village of Oswego will celebrate the Fourth of July with a free fireworks display lighting up the night sky on Wednesday, July 4.
Fireworks will be launched from Prairie Point Park at approximately 9 p.m.
Parking is available at the following locations: Prairie Point Park, Oswego High School, the Village of Oswego Public Works Facility, the Oswego YMCA, and East View Academy. Portable restrooms will be available at Prairie Point Park. No alcoholic beverages are permitted.
In the event of rain, the Fourth of July fireworks will be held on Thursday, July 5. Please note that parking will not be available at the Oswego YMCA on July 5. The decision to change to the rain date will be announced on the Village of Oswego’s website, www.oswegoil.org, and on Facebook, @VillageofOswego, and Twitter, @OswegoIL60543.
